"EPIPHANY" by EMILIYAN VALEV, STANIMIR VALEV and A I MILLER
A report by Emiliyan Valev and Stanimir Valev, Bulgarian comics authors, and "COMICS" magazine collaborators.
“But I have one want which I have never yet been able to satisfy…I have no friend.” –Mary Shelley,Frankenstein
What fate could be worse than existing as a hideous monstrosity, shunned by all of humanity? How about living with that curse forever? Sometimes, the only solution is to make new friends…literally.
Written by Emiliyan and Stanimir Valev, and beautifully illustrated by A. I. Miller, “Epiphany” offers a fresh, hopeful take on the Creature’s doomed tale. The digital download includes a BONUS page from “Smooshenstein,” a mini-series by Damien Lucchese, art by Maritsa Patrinos, featured as part of extras in this digital download.
Emiliyan and Stanimir Valev are two brothers and comic creators from Bulgaria. They have a unique vision and experience in working on big international projects. They create characters, worlds, stories, and will take you on a journey. Share their visions at eandspresent.blogspot.com
A.I.Miller, born in 1987 in Fort Worth, Texas, is a figurative painter, digital artist, writer and comic artist. His passion is for exploring the vast poetic possibilities of narrative sequential art, which he studied while earning his MFA at MICA. The subject of his work ranges from non-fiction and autobiography to philosophical cyberpunk fables. He is currently living in Charlottesville, Virginia, with his wife and a very fluffy Bichon. There, he has an active studio practice, and is working on several projects including the science fiction serial, Bicephalous Cyborg which will (hopefully) be self-published some time in the spring.
