The book's structure builds upon almost a decade of taking visual notes, a practice that allowed me to capture many real-life micro-stories. In this book, I weave some of these visual notes within the fabric of the main plot developed around themes such as exile experience, language and algorithmic profiling. Its pacing reminds us of a fugue, and its complexity, of the comments section of a busy web page.
